My love for lever actions began with the harvest of a mature, swollen-necked whitetail buck that I took on Christmas Day over three decades ago. The South Texas 10-pointer fell with a single shot from my Savage Model 99E chambered in .243 Winchester. From that day forward I have hunted almost exclusively with lever actions. I tend to favor the look of traditional lever action rifles that wear iron sights and walnut stocks; however I have grown fond of the new modern lever guns that have entered the marketplace over the past decade. My journey has taken me on many adventures throughout the United States with a levergun in my hands. It has been my life-long dream to harvest all North American Big Game species with a lever action rifle. I hope to accomplish this feat one day and be able to share my stories with everyone along the way.
LONG LIVE THE LEVERGUN!
